# Tablet

* **Forecast.** A weather-app view for any region. It shows the temperature, condition, high and low, an hourly forecast, upcoming weathers, feels-like, wind, humidity, precipitation, the next change and power state. From here you can change the weather, skip ahead, hold the weather or preview it locally.
* **Regions.** Turn weathers in or out of each region's cycle, set any weather instantly, hold a region, cut a region's power, roll a new forecast, or reset the cycle to the config defaults.
* **Presets.** Apply a preset in one tap, or save the current weather as a preset with an optional time, power state and hold. Delete presets with hold-to-confirm. Presets in `shared/presets.lua` are added to the database on first start.
* **Time and power.** A time slider with quick picks, freeze time, a real-world clock, time speed, citywide blackouts, vehicle light control, storm blackouts with an outage chance slider, timed blackouts (hold to cut), dynamic weather on or off, and setting every region at once.
* **Change style.** Choose smooth or instant changes. Smooth fades the sky over 10 seconds to 1 minute and runs the clock to the new time over 5 to 40 seconds. The choice applies to the tablet, presets, `/weather`, `/time` and other scripts' exports. The weather picker has a one-off **Change instantly** switch.
* **Timed holds.** When you set a weather you can hold it for 15 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours or until released. A timed hold releases itself, and the region goes back to cycling.
* **History.** Who changed what, from the tablet, commands or other scripts.
* **Preview.** Shows a weather on your own screen only, until you stop it or close the tablet.

### Storm blackouts

During THUNDER or BLIZZARD, every stormy region rolls the outage chance every so often. The chance, how often it rolls and how long the power stays out are set in the tablet and saved to the database. Outages only happen while a storm is on. There's also a **Restore power everywhere** button.

### Notifications

Severe weather alerts, power outage warnings and feedback from the legacy commands only show to players who turned on **Notifications** in `/sbweather`. It's off by default (`Config.Defaults.Notifications`). The exception is a "no access" error, so a command doesn't look broken.
