# Cooking

### Cooking stations

Stations decide where people cook and which recipes they can make there. You can have as many stations per business as you like.

```lua
cookingStations = {
    {
        id      = 'grill',
        label   = 'Grill',
        icon    = 'fas fa-fire',
        coords  = vector3(0.0, 0.0, 0.0),
        recipes = { 'bs_cookedmeat', 'bs_royalstack' },
    },
},
```

### Recipes

Recipes hold the ingredients.

```lua
recipes = {
    bs_royalstack = {
        label = 'Royal Stack Burger', outputItem = 'bs_royalstack', amount = 1, cookTime = 14,
        emote = 'LEANBAR2', notify = 'Assembling a Royal Stack...',
        ingredients = {
            { name = 'bs_cookedmeat', amount = 2, label = 'Cooked Meat' },
            { name = 'bs_brioche',    amount = 1, label = 'Brioche Bun' },
        },
    },
},
```

* `cookTime` is in seconds.
* Ingredients can come from the business stock or from the player's own inventory. The cooking menu shows both counts.

### Cooking

1. Go to a cooking station.
2. Pick a recipe. The menu shows what's in stock and what you're carrying.
3. Choose where the ingredients come from and where the finished item should go.
4. Wait for the progress bar to finish.

### Stocking up

Use the stock spot to deposit finished items and ingredients, so registers and stations can use them. The stash holds general supplies the team shares.
