# Troubleshooting

If SB Containers is not working as expected, check the following areas before making changes to the resource files.

### Containers Are Not Saving

Check that:

```
sbcontainers.sql
```

was imported into your server database.

Also check the server console for database errors.

If you recently switched inventory systems, make sure the appropriate conversion command was completed.

### Container Item Does Not Exist

If players cannot use a container item, verify that it was added to your inventory system.

For QBCore:

```
qb-core/shared/items.lua
```

For ox\_inventory, verify the item was added to the ox\_inventory item definitions.

### Container Cannot Be Placed

Check:

* The player has the correct container item.
* The inventory system is configured correctly.
* Your target resource is running.
* The container is enabled in the configuration.
* There are no client errors in F8.

### Admin Panel Does Not Open

Check administrator permissions and make sure the resource is running.

Test:

```
/sbcontainers
```

Then check both the server console and F8 console for errors.

### Existing Containers Are Missing After Changing Inventory

If you changed inventory systems, the existing stash data may need to be converted.

QBCore to ox\_inventory:

```
convertcontainerox
```

ox\_inventory to QBCore:

```
convertcontainerqb
```

Run the command with an empty server and wait for the success message before restarting.

### Database Errors

Check that `oxmysql` is running and that the database connection is working.

Also verify that:

```
sbcontainers.sql
```

was imported successfully.
