# Menu Options

Players open the menu with `/sbcompass`. Changes preview live. **Save** stores them and closes the menu. **Cancel** or `Esc` reverts them.

| Option               | What it does                                                                                                                                                                               |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Compass on/off       | Shows or hides the compass.                                                                                                                                                                |
| Style: Degrees       | A full strip with ticks, degree numbers and a heading readout.                                                                                                                             |
| Style: Simple        | One bar. The zone is on the left, the directions are in the middle, and the street is on the right. The nearest direction is locked under the marker in bold, with its neighbours smaller. |
| Compass visibility   | Always, in a vehicle, or on foot.                                                                                                                                                          |
| Heading source       | Camera or movement.                                                                                                                                                                        |
| Location card on/off | Shows or hides the location card.                                                                                                                                                          |
| Location visibility  | Always, in a vehicle, or on foot.                                                                                                                                                          |
| Position             | Top or bottom.                                                                                                                                                                             |
| Display              | Pops up when entering a new street, or stays pinned.                                                                                                                                       |
| Show with simple bar | Off by default. Turn it on to keep the location card while the simple bar is showing.                                                                                                      |
| Street name          | Affects the location card only. The simple bar always shows the street.                                                                                                                    |

Save errors appear in the footer of the menu. There are no on-screen notifications.
