# Configuring Dead Animations

Some AntiCheat detections monitor player health and other properties to identify godmode or other forms of manipulation.

Downed and death systems can sometimes legitimately produce unusual player states.

To prevent legitimate death animations from being incorrectly detected, SB AntiCheat provides a dead animation exemption list.

### Configuration Location

The configuration looks like:

```lua
SB.clientChecks.deadAnims = {
    { "hit_react_die_loop", "hit_react_die_loop_ped_b" },
    { "dead",               "dead_a" },
    { "missfinale_c2mcs_1", "dead_idle" },
}
```

Each entry contains two values:

```lua
{ "animationDictionary", "animationName" }
```

***

### Adding Your Own Animation

If your ambulance, medical, or custom downed script uses another animation, add it to the list.

Example:

```lua
SB.clientChecks.deadAnims = {
    { "dead", "dead_a" },
    { "my_ambulance_anim", "downed" },
}
```

The first value is the animation dictionary.

The second value is the animation name.

### Why This Is Important

If your server uses a custom death or downed system, its animations should be added to this list before enabling strict detection settings.

Otherwise, legitimate players may be detected while they are in a valid downed state.

> 💡 You should only add animations that are actually used by your server's legitimate gameplay systems. Do not add random animations simply to prevent detections.
